Tele Columbus reports Q2 revenue increase

Germany’s Tele Columbus has reported a 2.3% revenue increase year-on-year to €54.3 million ($60.57 million) for Q2 2015, according to local reports.

Germany’s Tele Columbus has reported a 2.3% revenue increase year-on-year to €54.3 million ($60.57 million) for Q2 2015, according to local reports.

Compared with a normalised EBITDA of €25.4 million in Q2 2014, the company has grown 9.2% year-on-year to €27.7 million for this year’s quarter. This generates an EBITDA margin uplift of 3.2% from 47.8% to 51%.

Capital expenditures in Q2 2015 hit €23.4 million as Tele Columbus increased the number of households connected to its core network from 955,000 to 970,000.

Last month, the cable network operator announced plans to acquire PrimaCom for €711 million which would combine Germany’s third and fourth largest cable firms.

Earlier in January, the company said it was moving forward with its delayed IPO.
