H5 Data Centers has announced that it has expanded its Denver data centre by 5,000 sq ft, pre-leasing the space to an existing Fortune 500 customer.

The expanded facility, which is located at 5350 S. Valentia Way in the Denver tech centre, will include the build-out of a 5,000 square-foot, private raised floor suite.

“We continue to focus on deepening our relationships with our growing wholesale customer base,” said Josh Simms, founder and CEO of H5 Data Centers.

“After completing the major renovation and expansion of our Denver tech centre data centre two years ago, we have more than doubled our enterprise customer base and worked to expand the capacities of most existing customers. H5 Data Centers will make available additional mechanical and electrical infrastructure as our customer ecosystem expands further.”

H5 Data Centers highlighted the Denver facility is now 300,000 sq ft and has over 17.5MWs of emergency generator power capacity.

“I have enjoyed a front row seat to witnessing H5 Data Centers light up an impressive amount of data center space nationally for its customers time and time again,” added Jon DeRidder, CMO of Enabled Energy.

“H5 Data Centers understands what it means to move at the speed of business and Enabled Energy remains dedicated to supporting fast and efficient infrastructure expansions like these.”

The news, which comes after last month’s announcement that the US colocation and wholesale data centre provider had acquired a Tier III 240,000 sq ft, purpose-built data centre in Quincy, Washington.
