Vodafone has hired Amanda Jobbins, formerly of Oracle, as global CMO of Vodafone Business.

Between Oracle, where she was CMO for Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Japan and the Asia-Pacific, she spent time at business cloud software company Infor.

“Vodafone Business is uniquely positioned to help organizations of all sizes navigate digital and business transformation,” said Jobbins (pictured).

“I couldn’t be prouder to join such a great, purpose-led organisation and to lead the marketing organisation on the next phase of its journey.”

Vodafone Business is headed by Vinod Kumar, formerly CEO of Tata Communications. He became CEO of Vodafone Business in 2019.

Jobbins replaces Iris Meijer, who left the group two weeks ago, with the message: “I’ll first have a holiday to recharge my batteries before starting my new exciting adventure.”

Jobbins wrote on LinkedIn: “Vodafone Business offers mobile, fixed and unified communications, as well as 5G, cloud and security services and is the world’s largest IoT service provider.”
