He also served on the boards of directors of numerous firms – including Limelight – but will step down from this position before assuming his new role.
Holding both a BS and an MS in Engineering, as well as an MBA, Perrone is expected to help expand the business.
“I’ve been closely involved with the company as a member of Limelight’s board of directors for many years, and have a great perspective on its potential,” he said.
