Interxion houses Hurricane Electric PoP in Copenhagen
US-based co-location provider Hurricane Electric has established a PoP at Interxion’s Copenhagen data centre.
The PoP is designed to enable reliable, cost-effective connectivity between Interxion’s Danish customers in Copenhagen and Hurricane Electric’s IPv4 and IPv6 networks.
“This new PoP will enable Hurricane Electric to improve fault tolerance, load balancing and congestion management infrastructure capabilities for the delivery of both IPv6 and IPv4 access services,” said Mike Leber, president of Hurricane Electric.
Interxion customers are also expected to benefit from the global reach of Hurricane Electric’s network, with capabilities such as reduced latency and higher bandwidth.
“Hurricane Electric is excited to continue its global partnership with Interxion,” Leber said.
Earlier this year, Sprint partnered with Interxion for the management of a PoP in its Madrid data centre in Spain.
