Fusion Network picks Telia Carrier for IP transit and capacity

Wholesale operator Fusion Network has chosen Telia Carrier as its primary supplier for IP transit and connectivity services to build out its nationwide backbone.

telia carrierBy selecting Telia Carrier, Fusion Network will improve the quality and reach of the services it provides its customers. Fusion Network works with top data centres, internet exchanges, content providers and large fibre owners to create a true backbone network for smaller internet service providers (ISPs) and wireless internet service providers (WISPs).

As a member of the Wireless Internet Service Providers Association (WISPA), Fusion Network's goal is to promote the advancement and unification of the Wireless ISP industry by bringing the content closer to the provider that allows for an overall better internet experience for its subscribers.

Telia Carrier's 62 US points of presence (POPs) serve the region with mission-critical, 100G-enabled internet transit, wavelength and Ethernet services. Fusion Network has lit PoPs in California, Colorado, Georgia, Illinois, Missouri, Oklahoma, Texas, Montana and Washington and will continue to expand its presence to several other states by the end of 2016.
