GTS CE and GeoPost partner for cloud service

Prague-based GTS Central Europe (GTS) has signed an agreement with long-term partner GeoPost for the delivery of a customised cloud platform in Europe.
GeoPost, a European express parcel delivery service for B2B and B2C customers, hopes the partnership will support its business intelligence platform, allowing customers to manage and track delivery information.
“More and more IT leaders are pressured to support an increased number of mission-critical applications with fewer resources,” said David Sita, MD of GTS Czech.
“This causes businesses to seek out cloud solutions as a way to effectively and efficiently expand core operations without spending significant capital.”
GTS’s cloud platform utilises dedicated warehouse systems, designed to provide real-time visibility for GeoPost customers through the cloud.
“GTS designed and implemented a scalable, flexible and secure cloud platform with high availability and the improved operational efficiency of our critical GeoTrack application,” said Philippe Cassan, director for information security at GeoPost.
In August this year, GTS was awarded an information security management system (ISMS) standard for its data centres across the central and eastern European (CEE) region.
