Hosting and managed services provider Six Degrees Group (6DG) has today announced it has appointed David Howson as CEO as Alastair Mills becomes chairman of the Board.

Howson has 25 years’ experience in the
industry, most recently spending six years at Zayo where he was
a member of the executive team. Howson joined Zayo in June 2010
when he was appointed president of network-neutral ZColo to its
growth initiatives, executing a plan that leverages Zayo
Group’s technical facilities. Over the next four
years he then became president of Zayo Bandwidth, president of
the Zayo Group and from April 2014 president international of
