NEXTDC expands board

NEXTDC Limited has appointed Dr Eileen Doyle to the NEXTDC board as a non-executive director, effective 26 August 2020.

Dr Doyle has had an internationally recognised career with close to four decades of business experience both at executive and board level.

Her experience covers a range of industries including logistics, port operations, research, property, financial services, manufacturing, building and construction.

She has previously served as the Chairman of export coal loader, PWCS and Deputy Chairman of CSIRO to 2016, after 10 years of service.

Dr Doyle currently serves on the Board of Boral and Oil Search Limited with previous appointments having included directorships at GPT Group, OneSteel, State Super Financial Services, Ross Human Directions Limited, The Australian Mathematical Sciences Institute, Knights Rugby League Ltd and Bradken Limited.

In many of her roles she has also acted as a member on the Audit, Governance and Sustainability Committees.

Her experience also includes appointments at government bodies Austrade, CSIRO, Newcastle Port Corporation, the National Steering Committee on ehealth and the NSW Innovation and Productivity Council.

Dr Doyle is also a Foundation Fellow of The Australian Association of Angel Investors (FAAAI) and the author of “Call a Business Angel”.
