Capacity Europe day 1 – Ooredoo Global Services (OGS) has launched international LTE roaming services.
The move will enable its customers to access 4G services when travelling abroad, offering a higher quality and range of services for its roaming customers.
The service will be delivered through interconnections with Tier 1 carriers in Europe and Asia. The company said it was aiming to become a leader in the field of international roaming services.
“As we embark on our journey to become a global carrier, the launch of our LTE roaming service further opens the door to providing more quality products and services to our customers,” said OGS CEO Yousuf Al-Kubaisi.
“OGS’ communication capabilities are developing daily, in both the consumer and business markets, and services such as this one keep us well ahead of demand and focusing on the changing needs of our customers.”
OGS was officially launched earlier this year to support the growth of Ooredoo’s international operations.
The operator has been shortlisted in a number of categories, including Best Middle Eastern Wholesale Carrier, for tomorrow's Global Carrier Awards 2014 ceremony in Amsterdam.
