Kaloom recruits former Dell exec as CX lead

Neeloy Bhattacharyya, Dell Technologies' former director of systems engineering, has landed a new role as VP of customer experience at Kaloom.

Bhattacharyya brings more than two decades of experience to his new position, in which he will take responsibility for global pre-sales solution engineering and post-sales delivery, consulting and customer support services.

He most recently led the global technology office for Dell EMC, a company he joined as part of the early VCE team. Most recently Bhattacharyya was focused on driving large scale data centre transformations and integrating products for customers undergoing transformations.

He said: “I see a lot of similarities between where Kaloom is today and where VCE was when I initially joined. Kaloom’s cloud-native, containerised approach to 5G and edge networking is both revolutionary and quite frankly, necessary, to realise the technology objectives of enterprises and service providers.

“I look forward to working closely with the team at Kaloom, our customers, industry partners and the open-source community to help realise the vision of the fourth industrial revolution,” Bhattacharyya continued.

In its own words, Kaloom is building a team of "technology veterans with proven track records of delivering large-scale networking". In July the firm appointed former IBM executive George Khatchadourian as its executive vice president of strategic partnerships and, in August, named former VMware executive, Marc Tremblay, its chief sales officer.

According to a recent LinkedIn post by Bhattacharyya Kaloom is still looking for people with telco and enterprise networking experience to fill post-sales, pre-sales technical roles and SDE roles.

The firm raised $32.5 million in its series A funding round, confirmed in May.
