Before joining Tillman Infrastructure, Smith served as a senior vice president at Partners Group, where he focused on investing in and partnering with leading business and management teams across the digital infrastructure sector.
Prior to this, Smith worked at Rockwell Bates and Sladen Legal after starting his career at the National Australia Bank. He holds a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Commerce, from the University of Tasmania.

Tillman Infrastructure is a mobile tower and telecom infrastructure company, which owns and builds sites across the US. The company provides both the financing and operational expertise to build and manage several thousands of sites nationwide.
At the start of the year, Ahuja was named as the company's CEO after serving as CFO, the role with Smith now holds. In 2020, Ahuja was the recipient of the Best Woman in Tower award, at the 2020 Global Women in Telco & Tech Awards.
