Linesight concludes two data centre projects with NTT Global Data Centers
Construction consultancy firm Linesight has completed the launch of two data centre projects with NTT Global Data Centers Americas, Inc.
Linesight provided cost management services on the two projects, located in Hillsboro, Oregon and Chicago, Illinois.
With a climate for data centres and subsea cables providing connectivity to the Asian region, Hillsboro, the company said Oregon is a prime spot in the Pacific Northwest.
The two-story data centre project in Chicago represents the first data centre on a new campus.
Linesight will also be involved in phase two of the project, which will double the IT footprint to a 72MW campus.
“NTT continues to innovate with designs that deliver up to 100% availability with highly flexible power configurations to meet the ever-evolving, in-demand needs of this industry,” said Alan Dowling, Commercial Manager at Linesight.
“This makes them a really exciting partner for Linesight to work with on their many ground-breaking projects.
“We are so pleased to be able to bring our industry knowledge; data centre experience and cost management expertise to bear as NTT continues to expand in the Americas market.”
Linesight has worked on over 260 data centre facilities globally and has worked with some of the largest data centre owner-occupiers, colocation and cloud providers in the world.
“We’ve worked on numerous data centres with the Linesight team,” said Clay Frederick, Senior Director of Construction Operations at NTT Global Data Centers Americas.
“They consistently bring strategic market insights, deep domain knowledge and experience to help us deliver our projects on time and on budget.”
