InterGlobix becomes a member of SubOptic Association

InterGlobix, a global solutions company focused on data centres, terrestrial fibre and subsea, has announced that it has joined SubOptic Association, a leading subsea global trade organisation.

“SubOptic has been serving the subsea community for the last 32 years, providing great value to the industry,” said Vinay Nagpal, Founder and President of InterGlobix. “InterGlobix is proud to join the association and honoured to have its abstract accepted for presenting at SubOptic 2019 conference.”

In addition, Nagpal will be presenting at the SubOptic 2019 conference on the topic of - Convergence of Subsea Fibre, Terrestrial Fibre & Data Centers Leading to the Continental Edge & Subsea Colocation.

“We are delighted to have InterGlobix as a SubOptic Association member, joining over 60 companies in the subsea cable industry and supporting industries that make up the association. We encourage participation and have recently established two new Working Groups for members to be part of,” said Yves Ruggeri, president of the SubOptic executive committee.

Earlier this year InterGlobix officially endorsed Telxius, Microsoft and Facebook’s MAREA Subsea Cable connecting Bilbao, Spain to Virginia Beach, Virginia, for the Global Capacity Awards 2018, Project of the Year – Subsea Networks.

At the time, InterGlobix said that MAREA would further drive additional connectivity, Cloud computing, colocation & data centre growth and enhance the Internet Infrastructure ecosystem in the state of Virginia.
