Specifically it’s the HIPAA, PCI-DSS, GLBA, and SSAE 18 annual compliance audits for all the 42 data centres across 20 US markets data centres that TierPoint operates.

SSAE 18 the new auditing standard implemented by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) in 2017. There are two audit types that TierPoint were able to meet for all its data centres, which are the SOC 1 Type II and SOC 2 Type II. Last month, TierPoint entered into an agreement with Zayo Group to offer Zayo’s CloudLink solutions. CloudLink offers dedicated, high-performance bandwidth options, enabling secure connectivity directly to the world’s largest public cloud providers and other data centres. As a result selected TierPoint data centres now offer connectivity to Zayo’s extensive fibre network, which includes more than 11.5 million fibre miles globally.
