Ephraim will be based in Washington DC area and is responsible for providing national leadership for the company’s sales team while reporting out of Infomart's new Ashburn, Virginia, data center.

Commenting on his new appointment, Ephraim said: “I’m extremely pleased to join Infomart Data Centers, where my goal will be to align our business to drive value for our clients' needs and strategy. Infomart Ashburn, developed on a property whose historical significance is well-known as the catalyst of data center growth throughout the region, is now a benchmark for reliable, efficient and sustainable colocation in Northern Virginia’s Data Center Alley. Today, a large portion of the world’s internet traffic passes through Loudoun County, positioning the Ashburn facility to be one of the most connected and highly sought-after colocation sites in the eastern U.S.”

Before joining Infomart Data Centers, Ephraim acted as director with Digital Realty Trust. For them he was responsible for leasing facilities and data centres to internet enterprises, global firms and North American service providers, also offering wholesale colocation solutions.

Prior to that he was regional director of sales and leasing at DuPont Fabros Technology and director of sales and marketing at Compu Dynamics. He has also held positions at Logicworks and the Globix Corporation (which is now QTS Realty Trust).

John Sheputis, president of Infomart Data Centers, added: “Dan Ephraim’s extensive industry experience in sales and business development for data center and colocation service providers will prove to be an immediate asset to the growth and success of Infomart. We are delighted to welcome Mr. Ephraim to the growing team at our Ashburn facility, and look forward to a long-lasting and productive relationship as he works to expand business by spearheading innovative sales and marketing initiatives.”
