The move aims to combine Indosat’s regional coverage with Tata global connectivity and managed service capabilities.
The two companies plan to offer enterprises in Indonesia with a range of value added services, unified communications and security services.
The move also will enable Tata to utilise Indosat’s local data centres and services for its customers.
The companies claim that by 2018, total enterprise IT spend in Indonesia will reach $14.09 billion, of which telecoms services will account for $4.96 billion and data centre services $750 million.
In March, Indosat launched a cloud-based M2M platform in Indonesia with Ericsson.
