Integra expands fibre network

Integra expands fibre network

Integra, a US regional provider of fibre-based, carrier-grade networking, has announced the expansion of its fibre cable by 865 miles in western US.

The expansion will connect Sacramento to Salt Lake as well as Reno and San Fransisco through the provider’s 100Gbps long-haul fibre backbone.

It also facilitates high bandwidth and decreases latency in Integra’s metro networks.

The company’s long-haul network now adds up to approximately 6,000 miles across Western US.

“This route provides the perfect complement to our existing long haul and metro fibre in the region,” said Dan Stoll, VP of corporate development at Integra.
