16 December 2014 |
Telecom Italia has confirmed its interest in infrastructure fund F21’s stake in fibre-optic network provider Metroweb, Reuters reports today.
Marco Patuano, chief executive at the Italian operator, said on Tuesday that the company has proposed buying the stake either in full or in part.
“We have offered two options; a total purchase or a partial one,” Patuano told reporters in Rome, Italy. “There will be talks soon.”
Telecom Italia first considered the Metroweb stake acquisition in March 2014.
