SK Telecom sees LTE subscriber numbers grow in Q3
31 October 2014 |
SK Telecom posted its Q3 results yesterday, revealing that it had surpassed 16 million LTE/LTE-Advanced subscribers as of the end of September.
The South Korean operator’s revenue rose by 5.9% year-on-year and 1.4% quarter-on-quarter.
According to some local reports, this figure was lower than expected, due to a reduction in subscriber fees.
SK Telecom’s 225Mbps LTE-A network is available across 85 cities in South Korea.
