Cellcom selects NSN to build out 4G network in Israel
16 April 2014 | Kavit Majithia
Israeli mobile operator Cellcom has selected Nokia Solutions and Networks (NSN) for the build-out of its 4G network.
NSN will immediately begin the deployment of the network, which will also be ready for LTE-A, and wide deployment of the service is expected by the end of the year.
Financial details were not disclosed, and the operation of the network, in addition to LTE-A qualities, is still dependant on the availability of spectrum and regulatory approvals.
Israeli wholesale provider Bezeq International announced the deployment of a PoP in Hong Kong last week.
