Bankai Group is now routing all international voice traffic going into Oman for telecoms operator Connect Arabia International (CAI).

The contract first came into effect in January and involves Bankai Group as well as its entities Broadband Telecom, BridgeVoice, Inc. or Bankai International Pvt Ltd.

The arrangement will enable Connect-I to focus on its core domain of retail business within Oman while it leverages Bankai Group’s expertise to manage its international activities.

Saleh Al – Khaldi, CTO, Connect Arabia International, said: “CAI urges all its existing customers and upcoming prospects to get in touch with Bankai Group for re-directing your Oman voice traffic and enjoy the top-class services for your termination needs.”

Nicky Peshwani, VP of Bankai Group, added: “This partnership is crucial for the consolidation and increment of voice business into Oman and there could not be a better partner than Connect Arabia International (CAI). We look forward to bringing the next-generation voice experience in Oman.”

CIA, also known as Connect-i, is an international gateway operator, satellite and international calling card services provider in the Sultanate of Oman. Its international gateway is the exclusive gateway of all international voice traffic to and from the country and can be connected either through satellites or international fibre cables.
