EdgeUno, a provider of Infrastructure as-a-Service in Latin America, has named industry veteran, Andy Bax, as its new chief operating officer.
Bax's appointment comes in support of EdgeUno’s commitment to providing innovative and leading engineered network solutions while focusing on customer service and workforce development across the markets it serves.
“I am delighted to join the team at EdgeUno and look forward to helping the company continue to surpass its dreams and remain the best at delivering Infrastructure as a Service with a dedication to quality and a focus on solving customer’s challenges,” said Bax.
“I am very much looking forward to working alongside some of the most exciting and talented people I have seen in our industry for a long time and can’t wait to see where we take EdgeUno’s fantastic story next.”
Bax enters the role with 30 years of experience across senior leadership positions at NYNEX, FLAG, Global Crossing and Seaborn Networks. He most recently served at Seaborn Networks, which Bax co-founded and served as chief operating officer for over ten years.

“EdgeUno was founded with the vision of enabling high quality Internet connectivity throughout LATAM, and we know that our greatest asset in achieving this dream is our people. When we take care of our people, everyone in the company takes care of our customers and that is the formula for success,” said Mehmet Akcin, founder and CEO of EdgeUno.
“I am thrilled to welcome Andy to the EdgeUno management team. He brings a strong history of leadership and experience in growing telecommunications companies, and Andy has always demonstrated an enormous value and respect for what people bring to a company. These qualities are what make him a perfect match for the team we have at EdgeUno.”
