Avanti to sponsor 400 metre champion Laviai Nielson
Avanti Communications Group is supporting 24-year-old Olympic hopeful Laviai Nielsen as she heads to Tokyo.
The agreement will see Avanti support the athlete in this year's summer games and other events in future.
Avanti said the relationship "was inspired by shared values of resilience and a shared journey of transformation". The partnership is the latest in a series of athlete sponsorships by Avanti, as part of a broader mission to connect people, communities and continents to a world of opportunity.
Nielson will also support on some of Avanti’s projects that she feels align with her goals and aspirations.

This assistance will help me fund my coach to both coach me and travel with me to my competitions, allow me to be treated by one of the best physios in the world and generally help me become the athlete I want to be."
