Infovista names new president of global enterprise

Infovista has named Kristian Thyregod as its new president of global enterprise and a member of the executive leadership team.

Thyregod, who will report directly to CEO José Duarte, brings 30 years of experience to the role following positions at Silver Peak, Riverbed Technology, IBM and CA Technologies, among others.

In his new role he will take the lead on driving the enterprise business with new customers and "accelerated growth".  Thyregod will also provide executive leadership across product management, sales, go-to-market and channel strategies.

Duarte said: “Attracting one of the industry’s most seasoned talents to lead our Enterprise business through its next phase of growth is a key milestone for Infovista. Kristian has got the right mix of know-how and leadership to ensure we provide the most relevant networking products and solutions to our customers and partners,”

Thyregod most recently held the position of VP for the EMEA region at Silver Peak helping to grow its business significantly during his tenure. Previously, Kristian has served as senior vice president, EMEA at Riverbed Technology and was responsible for EMEA solution sales at CA Technologies following on from senior leadership positions at both EMC Corporation and IBM.

Thyregod is a graduate of Copenhagen Business School and Henley Management College with advanced degrees in strategy and business administration and has completed a post graduate program in Strategy at IMD Business School.
