Vodafone and OFT team up to bring Vodafone brand to Oman
Vodafone Group and Oman Future Telecommunications (OFT) have entered into a strategic partnership agreement in Oman as part of Vodafone’s Partner Markets programme.
“I am delighted to start this strategic partnership with OFT, and I look forward to developing this new network operator and Oman’s digital economy,” said Diego Massidda, chief executive of Vodafone Partner Markets. “I am confident that this will build into a strong, lasting relationship that will benefit customers of both companies.”
Under the terms of the agreement, the companies will join forces to roll out a new mobile network and develop a number of new services using the Vodafone brand in Oman. In doing so, they hope to drive the next stage in development of Oman’s telecoms market.

Development of the new network will start immediately with commercial launch scheduled for the second half of 2020.
