Colt names TS Narayanan as CIO
Colt Technology Services has continued to add to its top team by appointing TS Narayanan as its new VP and chief information officer (CIO).
Narayanan joins Colt after 17 years at Tech Mahindra, where he most recently served as SVP and head of delivery and solutions for Europe.
His role will see him take responsibility for Colt’s technical vision, overseeing its systems, applications and infrastructure capability.
Narayanan said: “Colt has embraced an innovative approach to technological development and is arming itself to enable the digital transformation of business. I look forward to helping the organisation thrive in a future built upon gigabit speeds and high quality connectivity.”
He is the latest in a long list of appointments at the London-based carrier, which recently moved offices. In September, Colt appointed Tom Regent as CCO, Paula Cogan as VP of enterprise and partner sales (Europe), and Tim Passingham as VP of wholesale sales (Europe).
Narayanan’s new role will see him report directly to CTO Rajiv Datta, who himself only joined the company in December of last year.
Datta said: “TS has extensive knowledge in how telecommunications businesses operate and has a strong heritage in adopting compelling customer facing engagement models which will complement Colt’s customer focused strategy.”
