Zain Saudi Arabia in Paris travel deal with Orange

Zain’s Saudi Arabian operation and Orange have launched an application designed to assist Saudi visitors to Paris.

The companies launched the project, called Marhaba to Paris, at the Arab World Institute – Institut du monde Arabe – in Paris, to help Saudi tourists prepare their journey and their stay in Paris.

It is Orange’s third partnership with Saudi operators in a few days. The company’s consultancy arm, Sofrecom, has announced a pact with STC and honoured Mobily for its environmental awareness.

This latest strategic partnership aims at building bridges between western and eastern countries, via the Orange and Zain partnership, associating the Arab World Institute by promoting cultural and economy initiatives.

The launched event was hosted by Jack Lang, president of the Arab World Institute and former French culture minister, and Hassan Kabbani, CEO of Zain Saudi Arabia, before Saudi Arabia’s higher education minister Khalid Al Anqary.

The Marhaba to Paris application is exclusive to Zain customers in the Gulf and promotes digital commerce for Saudis in France, giving them access to numerous high-end shops in Paris, and promoting French tourism for Gulf population.
