Colt extends SIP trunking offering to CEE region

Colt has extended its SIP trunking solution to markets in Central and Eastern Europe.

The service has been made available in the Czech Republic, Luxembourg, Poland, Romania and Slovakia, bringing it to a total of 20 markets in North America, Asia and Europe.

The service claims to enable enterprises to simplify their telephony infrastructure, rationalise multi-site connections over a single IP network and reduce supplier management costs.

“With Colt VoIP Access businesses benefit from a consistent service experience across all countries where they operate. The ability to consolidate the service delivery physically and remove the need to manage multiple remote suppliers considerably reduces the costs of service and provisioning,” said Richard Oosterom, EVP of voice services at Colt.

Earlier this week, Colt launched DCNet as-a-service; its first major offering to leverage software defined networking (SDN) and network functions virtualisation (NFV).
