Orange Business Services appoints Africa VP
Orange Business Services (OBS) has appointed Giorgio Heiman as VP of Africa at the company, effective immediately.
Heiman takes over the position from Jean-Luc Lasnier, who has retired, and will divide his time between Johannesburg, South Africa, and Geneva, Switzerland.
Heiman joined Orange Group in 2004 and in a statement, the company said he brings: “significant consulting expertise and experiences in harnessing technology to deliver innovative business solutions, as well as leadership and management of multicultural and geographically dispersed teams”.
OBS has been present in Africa since 1949 and is now established in 40 countries across the continent.
In October 2012, OBS enhanced its contact centre portfolio with the launch of a cloud-based multi-channel solution.
