du extends data centre contract with Injazat Data Systems

UAE carrier du has extended its managed co-location services contract with Injazat Data Systems for another three years.

The renewed agreement will see Injazat’s Abu Dhabi-based Tier IV data centre continue to support managed co-location services for du’s critical systems.

“We are honored with the opportunity to continue hosting du’s mission-critical systems via the Middle East’s first Tier IV Data Centre. We will continue to ensure that we have the technology and the expertise to ensure that du’s key systems stay online while the company continues to provide vital telecommunications services to its customers. This partnership helps maintain the high standards of excellence in the UAE’s telecommunications sector,” said Ibrahim Mohamed Lari, CEO, Injazat Data Systems.

Farid Faraidooni, chief commercial officer at du, said the deal would continue to raise the bar for telecoms service levels in the UAE. “It re-affirms our commitment to providing world-class services 24/7 to our nearly six million individual customers and over 50,000 businesses, eliminating service downtime,” he added.
