Nawras appoints Sheikh Saud Al-Thani as vice chairman
Qtel’s Omani subsidiary, Nawras, has named Qtel Qatar CEO, Sheikh Saud bin Nasser bin Faleh Al-Thani, as vice chairman.
He replaces Khalid Ibrahim Al Mahmoud who was recently appointed Group Chief Officer of Qtel’s small and medium businesses unit.
The company has also appointed Mohamed Jassim Al Kuwari as a temporary board member until its next annual general meeting.

Sheikh Saud bin Nasser Al-Thani joined Qtel in 1990. He has served on the Nawras board of directors since 2008.
