Avelacom, which has plans to build its global network across Europe, Asia and the US is now set to expand with more staff in Singapore and New York, which are both expected to be ready in Q2 2017, and Expand Executive Search will continue to source the right executives for the growing company.
“We have great hopes with our New York office and it is set to open up access to the Latin America market for the operator,” said Aleksey Larichev, managing director of Avelacom to Capacity. “We’re investing a lot in our network expansion and have grown exponentially. Other than Russia and Europe, we have built the rest of our entire network in the last two years. We’re also a relative newcomer in the financial services vertical but have certainly disrupted that market.” Testament to this disruption can be seen when Avelacom entered into a partnership with Dubai Gold & Commodity Exchange (DGCX) back in October.
Larichev added: “Our strategy is to be a close as possible to our clients, firstly by building our sales force and secondly we’ll look to enhance our operations with a more technology-orientated sales support team. We want our people to be regional experts and based locally. This year, we are focusing on expanding geographically into South America and in countries in South Africa and enhancing our product portfolio into a more fintech one-stop-shop for solutions, including managed services.
Expand Executive Search is assisting with sourcing the right senior sales managers for Avelacom’s new offices on a global scale, including in the US and Asia. “We are a market-leading expert and provider of executive search in the carrier community,” added Aidan Walker of Expand Executive Search, “and as we grow the number of people in our business by 40% this year, the two companies are supporting one another on this growth journey.”
