The two companies will work together to develop IP infrastructure, support advanced IP, Ethernet and IPX solutions, and provide Tier 1 IP transit services in the region.
The deal is designed support increasing demand from ISPs and content providers for these IP services, via a multi-leg architecture which utilises key international submarine and terrestrial cable systems Omantel is connected to.

TI Sparkle will also benefit from a greater reach in the Middle East, enabling them to better connect customers in the Gulf and Southeast Asia.
