Transport within Amsterdam
The closest airport to the Hilton Amsterdam is Schiphol Airport which is 15km (20 mins) from the hotel and also 20 mins from Amsterdam Central Station. Taxis should cost approximately EUR 35.
Arriving by bus
Bus 397 (Amsterdam Airport Express) provides a quick and easy transfer from Amsterdam Schiphol Airport to Hilton Amsterdam, departing every 7 & 5 minutes from bus platforms B15-19. The hotel recommend you to take this bus and commute for about 27 minutes and exit on the Emmastraat. The Emmastraat is only a short walk to the hotel.

Arriving by train
The direct train from Schiphol Amsterdam Airport (AMS) to Central Station takes 20 minutes and should cost around EUR 5. When arriving at Amsterdam Central Station, the hotel recommends taking Tramline 5, towards Amstelveen Binnenhof or Line 24 towards VU Medisch Centrum, and exit on Gerrit van der Veenstraat.
Another option is Tramline 2 towards Nieuw Sloten, where you can exit at Cornelis Schuytstraat.
Walking from the tram stop to the Hilton Amsterdam
Walking directions from Gerrit van der Veenstraat to Hilton Amsterdam (Tramline 5) (6 minutes): From Gerrit van der Veenstraat, walk in direction of the tram, and take the first left on the big intersection. Take the fourth street to your right towards Minervalaan. Keep walking in this direction, and you should be able to see Hilton Amsterdam from there.
Walking directions from Cornelis Schuytstraat to Hilton Amsterdam (Tramline 2) (8 minutes): From Cornelis Schuytstraat, cross the road to the main street. On the right hand side you will have the Gresham Memphis Hotel. Keep walking straight on and cross the bridge, following the Breitnerstraat. After crossing the bridge you will see Hilton Amsterdam on your right hand side at the crossing of the Apollolaan and Minervalaan.
