Why Cape Town?
South Africa is undergoing a period of strong colocation market growth. With recent announcements from Microsoft, Google, Huawei, Liquid Telecom and AWS over the last 12 months alone, as well as the region being a known hub for subsea, fibre, data centre and cloud activity, it was a unanimous decision to bring Capacity Media and BroadGroup's event to Cape Town.
"We are truly excited about this event which brings a focus to our efforts in several infrastructure areas across Africa: subsea, fibre, data centre and cloud. We look forward to engaging our various partners on the continent in an event with singular focus on infrastructure in Africa.”
Funke Opeke, CEO, MAINONE

Capacity Africa: Running for 14 years, Capacity Africa is the annual must-attend event for regional and international carriers. The focus for 2020 will be on expanding terrestrial projects, opportunities aligned with infrastructure sharing, alternatives to fibre connectivity such as satellite services, and the emergence of digital corridors in connecting East to West.
Datacloud Pan-Africa: Datacloud focuses on data centre expansion and cloud provision growth, and will be the one-stop-shop to network, learn and trade with African digital pioneers. Hyperscale data centres are expanding with more projects announced, and global brands are setting up new head offices across the continent. Find out how you can benefit from growing demand, and discover more on Edge, power supply and regional differentiators.
Subsea Africa: Subsea infrastructure is required to support the calls for increased content provision across the continent. Whilst there have been major OTT announcements of new subsea projects, what are the trends being seen across the African subsea space as a whole? Subsea Africa examines where investment is coming from and whether current cables have the longevity to uphold the growing demand for capacity.
