Tri Indonesia, which has typically focused on rolling out its 3G network, will launch 4G services in six cities in Sumatra, Kalimantan, Sulawesi, Java and Bali.
The announcement is in line with Tri Indonesia’s previous goal to launch in the first quarter. “March 30th 2016. Yes, we are launching 4G in six cities,” vice president of Tri Indonesia, Muhammad Danny Buldansyah said in an interview with IndoTelko.
Buldansyah added that Jakarta, Bandung, Batam, Pontianak and Makassar are target cities for the company due to the high volumes of data traffic in the cities.
