The US cable company will use the Integrated Life Platform in its own home security and home management solution, IntelligentHome, which offers services such as remote management for home security, emergency response and energy management.
“Synchronoss’ Integrated Life Platform will enhance our customers’ sales, installation and service experience while providing a foundation for continuous operational efficiency,” said Scott Taylor, VP of corporate development operations at TWC.
The Synchronoss platform is device agnostic, designed to enable seamless connectivity regardless of customer device or operating platform.
Chris Putnam, SVP of sales and business development at Synchronoss, said that the deal with TWC marks its official entry into the home automation and security market.
“Earlier this year, we announced that our technology is connecting cars – now we are connecting homes,” Putnam said. “We are looking forward to what’s next in this connected world.”
