Stack confirms 216MW, 100% renewable-powered campus

Stack Infrastructure has confirmed it will develop a new 216MW campus in Ashburn, VA, set on a new 80-acre site in Loudoun.
Set across three buildings, the campus will offer "massive scalability" according to Stack and will be powered 100% by renewable energy, served by its utility partner, Dominion.
“STACK’s forward development in the most challenging markets is our differentiator," said Stack CEO Brian Cox.

On its fibre and utility connections, Stack said it will lean on its local partner relationships and expertise and that its development team had navigated power constraints to ensure scalable infrastructure solutions, as well as access to all major long-haul fibre carriers and to high-capacity dark fibre.
The first phase is due for delivery in Q3, 2023.

Stack currently has 300MW under active construction and said it anticipates significant continued investment in the region over the next 12 months.
Recently the firm has expanded its campus in Prince William County, including the groundbreaking of a 72MW total second phase announced just two months ago and already under construction for 2022 delivery. Further, a soon-to-be-completed new 24MW facility in Hillsboro, Oregon, will bring STACK’s Portland-area total capacity to more than 50MW.
