Ralf Nejedl is leaving Deutsche Telekom, where he was senior VP of its business-to-business operations.

He had been with the company for 10 years, but spent the previous eight years with its T-Systems unit, which he joined in 2003.

“It’s time to hand over the torch,” he wrote on LinkedIn, announcing his departure.

Nejedl (pictured) has not said where he will be going next, except that he hinted that he was planning “to start a new endeavour and work in a more entrepreneurial way”. He added: “I am excited to explore new opportunities.”

Nejedl has also been on the board of directors of Magyar Telekom, Deutsche Telekom’s Hungarian operation.

“My Magenta journey started 20 years ago at T-Systems,” he said, referring to the group by its magenta house colour. “I spent 10 exciting years and half of the time leading B2B in Deutsche Telekom Europe.”

The said there had been “an incredible growth journey” during which “we have evolved from a telecom service provider into a partner for digitization for our business customers”.

He concluded: “But now it’s time to leave a strong team and a healthy growing business behind.”
