Cordiant Digital Infrastructure Management, the investment manager to Cordiant Digital Infrastructure has appointed Andrew Ewe as a senior associate within its investment team.

Reporting to managing directors Hagai Shilo and David Kippen, Ewe will support the company’s digital infrastructure initiatives with responsibility for financial analysis, the analyst team, deal management and origination across Europe and North America.

“I am very pleased that we have been able to hire someone with the depth of experience and market knowledge that Andrew has," said Stephen Foss, managing director at Cordiant.

"He is a great addition to the team and we view this strategic appointment as a key component for the next stage of growth following a successful start to the year with our two equity financings and acquisition of Ceske Radiokomunikace (CRA) in the Czech Republic.”

Ewe enters the role with eight years of corporate, investment banking and advisory experience. He joins from Investec, where he spent almost four years working in their infrastructure and power sector banking group.

Prior to this, he also held roles at Deloitte in the Government and Infrastructure team as well as global infrastructure and audit roles at Mazars.

“When I was looking for my next challenge, I wanted to work for a firm that could provide an entrepreneurial environment and is at the forefront of the sector," said Ewe.

"That is what I found in Cordiant and I am looking forward to working with the team, whom I have known for some time.”

In related news, May saw Steven Marshall appoint a leadership team to support him in his new role at Cordiant Digital.

Marshall headhunted five executives, who he said all worked with him during his time at National Grid Wireless or were known to him due to their profile and career.

The five new team members are: David Bonar, treasurer; Rita Maguire, head of talent; Kevin Moroney, broadcast advisor; Mark Noble, general counsel; and Atul Roy, telecommunications advisor.
