PCCW Global partners DIDWW to expand SIP trunking to Europe and Asia

PCCW Global and DIDWW are partnering to expand SIP trunking service coverage to Europe and Asia.

The collaboration between the two create new opportunities by using PCCW Global's existing infrastructure in the Asia-Pacific region and DIDWW's advanced services and global coverage in Europe and other parts of the world.

"We maintain a leading position in the markets of Europe and the Americas with our broad service offerings and extensive coverage of virtual phone numbers,” said Lina Zaboras, CEO of DIDWW.

“We are pleased to form this collaboration with PCCW Global and believe it will further strengthen our ability to provide IP-based interconnection for reliable voice services in the Asia-Pacific region."

The news comes as global businesses have been migrating from traditional public switched telephone networks (PSTN) to IP-based SIP voice platforms that connect their regional offices to more advanced infrastructure creating flexible inter-office communications for better security and management.

In related news, June saw Console Connect by PCCW Global collaborate with NetSapiens to enhance network performance and control for NetSapiens’ global customers.

The partnership enables NetSapiens to extend their global reach and directly connect their service provider customers with on-demand virtual interconnections that can be self-provisioned through the Console Connect portal or via its API.
