NetActuate has expanded its global network with the addition of new connectivity partners to its Frankfurt data centre to enhance performance for end users across Europe.

This additional connectivity from new unnamed Tier 1 providers will according to the company ‘ensure optimal latency and reliability for NetActuate’s end users within Germany and across EMEA’.

“Throughout Europe, we are continuing to see a steady growth in demand on our networks,” said Mark Mahle, CEO and principal technology architect at NetActuate.

“Adding new Tier 1 connectivity in Frankfurt will allow us to continue providing an optimal user experience throughout major European markets.”

NetActuate’s data centre in Frankfurt provides access to more than 600 carriers, 14,000 cross connects, as well as direct access to Microsoft Azure, Microsoft German Cloud, Amazon Web Services, and SoftLayer. It is also home to DE-CIX’s core infrastructure.

The facility also features multi-factor security, as well as fully redundant power and cooling. In addition, NetActuate’s NOC and local technicians are available to provide remote hands support.

As part of NetActuate’s global footprint, customers can deploy their hybrid environments into this and over 30 additional US and global locations, without having to manage multiple vendors for their infrastructure and low-latency network services.

Looking ahead and driven by the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, NetActuate says it is continuing its special program for those on the front lines of the pandemic.

This includes free infrastructure and network services for the healthcare community working to treat patients and to contain the spread of Covid-19, as well as schools and other educational services.
