Orange appoints CEOs for Belgium and Poland as reshuffle continues
07 July 2020 | Alan Burkitt-Gray
Orange has continued its reshuffle of senior management across Europe by appointing new CEOs for its operations in Belgium and Poland.
New CEO of Orange Belgium is Xavier Pichon, who replaces Michaël Trabbia, who will be the group chief technology and innovation officer.
Pichon has spent two years at the Boston Consulting Group in Australia, as a senior transformation executive, but is a former deputy CEO of Orange France.
New CEO of Orange Polska is Julien Ducarroz, replacing Jean-François Fallacher, who is becoming CEO of Orange Spain. Ducarroz moves to Poland from Orange Moldova. He previously worked for the group in its London office, and then in the Netherlands and Romania. Orange is looking for a new CEO for Moldova.
All will report to Mari-Noëlle Jégo-Laveissière (pictured), who will take over responsibility for the Europe region from Ramon Fernandez, now in charge of finance, performance and development.
Orange announced the new roles for Trabbia, Fallacher and Jégo-Laveissière in June, but not the new CEOs of Belgium and Poland. Jégo-Laveissière was in charge of innovation, marketing and technology before her appointment to the Europe role.
She will head Orange’s adoption of 5G in European countries outside France – Belgium, Luxembourg, Moldova, Poland, Slovakia, Romania and Spain. The seven countries account for 25% of the group’s consolidated revenues.
All the changes will all take effect from 1 September.
