Colt Technology Services has appointed Yasutaka Mizutani as its new chief marketing officer (CMO).

Mizutani has been with the company for twelve years and during his time there, has held various positions across Europe and Asia. Before his current role, he served as head of global business partner marketing, where he and his team were responsible for supporting Colt’s regional sales organisations across regions using various data-driven approaches.

“At Colt, we strongly believe our people are our best asset and I couldn’t be more thrilled that someone who has played a fundamental role in how our brand has evolved over the past few years is stepping up to become our CMO,” said CCO Keri Gilder, whom Mizutani reports directly to. “The pace of change in the industry is immense, and it’s critical to continue to transform ourselves to provide higher value to our customers. With Mizu’s strong digital marketing and analytical background with exceptional expertise both in Europe and Asia, we strongly believe that our entire marketing function will reach the next level under his leadership as our CMO.”

In his new elevated role, Mizutani will be responsible for defining and executing Colt’s marketing strategy, underpinned by the company’s goal of being the most customer-oriented business in the industry. He enters the role immediately base in Colt’s London offices.

“Over the past 12 years, I have seen the business grow from strength-to-strength with innovative digital technologies,” added Mizutani. “From the continued investment in our Colt IQ Network to the focus on our people, to the shift in how the company markets itself; so I couldn’t be more excited to be expanding on my responsibilities with Colt.”

Last month, Colt welcomed Suchitra Rajendra as country head in India as well as vice president of HR for Colt India.

In her new role, Rajendra will work with Colt India’s senior management team to ensure that it aligns with the company’s global strategy. In addition, she will join Colt’s COO’s central leadership team where she will be responsible for leading the operations and HR teams in India.
