DE-CIX partners InterGlobix in North America, Europe, Middle East and India

DE-CIX has entered into a strategic business partnership with InterGlobix.

Under the terms of the agreement, InterGlobix and DE-CIX will work together on business development and strategic areas of growth for DE-CIX.

InterGlobix is on the forefront of Internet infrastructure and leading the convergence of data centres, subsea and terrestrial fibre. We look forward to our partnership with InterGlobix and working together in various strategic areas of growth for DE-CIX globally.”

Additionally, InterGlobix will provide business development support for the growth and expansion of the DE-CIX Internet Exchanges in North America (Dallas and New York), India (Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai and Kolkata), as well as the DE-CIX hubs in Europe (Madrid and

Marseille) and the Middle East (Istanbul and Dubai).

Earlier this month, DE-CIX along with AMS-IX and LINX joined forces to simplify ways of provisioning and configuring interconnection services. AMS-IX in Amsterdam, DE-CIX in Frankfurt and LINX in London say they have developed a common application programming interface (API) that will allow users to self-manage their existing and new interconnection services.
