KsFiberNet extends fibre infrastructure to TierPoint data centres

Kansas Fiber Network, a provider of fibre-based networks, has announced a 100-mile expansion of its fibre network.

The project will extend the company’s presence into two TierPoint data centres. The first at 14500 West 105th Street, Lenexa, Kansas and at the second at 322 East Archer Street, Tulsa, Oklahoma.

By extending its network over 100-miles, KsFiberNet is able to deliver services and provide access to data centre operations located in growing markets, making available carrier grade, high-bandwidth Ethernet, IP and data transport services to and from nearly any location on or off the KsFiberNet network.  In addition, the new fibre-optic infrastructure offering dedicated lit services scalable from 10Mbps to 100Gbps.

“The expanded network delivers lower latency, increases availability, offers carrier diversity, while enabling customers to have route diversity to some of the most important data centres in the middle of the country,” added Brigman.
