The 2018 Global Carrier Awards are only open for one more week - Submit your entries now.
For the 14th year in a row, the who’s who of the global carrier community will be honoured on stage for their contribution to the the wholesale community. And this year Capacity is delighted to announce the addition of the Wholesale Innovation Disruptor of the Year award - which will celebrate the technology, product or service that has had the biggest impact on the industry over last 12 months.
Taking place during Capacity Europe 2018, this year's list includes 53 awards up for grabs, in the categories of: global wholesale, regional wholesale, best data centre & internet exchange, best project 2018, best marketing / sales teams, innovation, best technology implementation / deployment and special recognition
Last year’s awards were attended by 400 members of the wholesale community celebrating industry achievements over the previous year. Last year’s big winners include Interoute and Colt Technology Services, both took home 3 awards each. With a total of 43 awards being handed out on the night.
Equinix was named best data centre, while datamena was recognised for data centre innovation. DE-CIX bagged an award for best internet exchange and France-IX picked up a gong for best internet exchange innovation.
IDT won the gong for best marketing team, while GlobeNet took the award for best social media campaign, and Deutsche Telekom ICSS recognised as the best marketing campaign around innovation.
Ed Stafford – the first man to walk the Amazon and a Guinness World Record holder - was guest speaker at the 2017 ceremony, this year world record-breaker Ben Saunders is our guest speaker.
The winners will be announced at the Capacity Global Carrier Awards ceremony and black tie gala dinner on Wednesday 24 October 2018, Troxy Theatre, London.
