Ooredoo expands its fibre coverage to 1,500 locations in Muscat

Ooredoo Oman has announced that it has made its fibre services available to 1,445 residencies located in Ruwi, Darsait, Mabela, Al Hail, Al Mawalih, Al Khoud across the city of Muscat.

Feras bin Abdullah Al Sheikh 160 x 186The news comes as Ooredoo Oman continues to expand the reach of its Superfast fibre services across the capital, which now offers speeds of 1Gbps in addition to unlimited use, free installation and modem.

Speaking on the news, Feras bin Abdullah Al Sheikh, director of consumer sales at Ooredoo, said: “The expansion of our Superfast Fibre service to nearly 1,500 tenancies in Muscat is a real game-changer for users searching for the most advanced internet network in Oman. Ooredoo’s Superfast fibre plans are comprehensive, all-inclusive plans starting at a price of OMR 28, allowing customers connect to its fast and secure network, receive unlimited Ooredoo to Ooredoo fixed minutes, alongside uninterrupted and completely buffer-free internet.

Only last year, Ooredoo Oman signed three financing deals with local and international banks, worth an estimated $177 million.
