Bell Canada deploying London PoP

Bell Canada, BCE Nexxia’s parent company, is deploying a new point of presence (PoP) in London this fall to provide European organisations a direct connection into North America through Canada without transiting into any US landing stations.
Leveraging Canada’s largest, highly secure and resilient network, the London PoP will create super corridors between Europe and key Canadian and American cities, from Montréal, Toronto, Vancouver, New York and Chicago right through to the Pacific.
“Customers will have access to high-value connectivity services such as Wavelength and Ethernet with speeds up to 10Gbps through the London PoP,” says Ivan Mihaljevic, president of BCE Nexxia and head of Bell Canada Wholesale. “It’s another route into North America with complete diversity end to end through a single provider for network, connectivity, data centre and network equipment needs.”
